Vodkaria in Leipzig

Our visit was in summer 2019, the offer and the services may have changed since then. Place to be in Leipzig, for everyone who likes vodka and / or Russian food. Our food was also very good and the portions were decent. Employees: very quick-witted and hard-drinking (both in a positive sense). Society: Very informal, from 18 to 50+ everything was there. Depending on the number of people, like everywhere else, a reservation makes sense.

Small but nice. A lot of vodka and cocktail variants. There is something for everyone! Eat good home cooking. Super cool and friendly staff.

My favorite bar in Leipzig that I always take guests to. So far everyone has been really enthusiastic and continues to tell about the visit long afterwards. Unfortunately, the waiters change very often, which means that nobody really knows the menu and therefore recommendations are mostly for the cat. Too bad, there are always reasons why the staff changes so often. You should speak a word again with the management and the restaurant management!

Large selection of vodka. The food wasn't that good. Taste and salt would have done him good. The Mexican service was super nice.

Always great here. Good connection to public. Sitting inside and outside. A huge selection of drinks at industry-standard prices. You can also eat well only here the selection is limited.

Great, creative menu with a constantly changing special menu. We had salted bacon. You have to know that this is pure white bacon - but tasty. We also love the pelmini with chicken - taste like grandma’s chicken soup. Delicious! One point deduction for the long waiting times for both dishes. The vodka selection is indisputably awesome. My favorite is manuka. The drinks come quickly. Obviously, there is significantly more capacity in the service than in the kitchen.

I visited vodkaria few days ago, based on a friend’s recommendation and i yeah it worth it! During these tough times the staff were kind and friendly! One of the waiters,his name is Martin was really joyful and he served us with a wide smile on his face. Will recommend it for either a good food or if you are a vodka fan. I had palmeni stuffed with chicken and it was on point. The food: 4/5 Drinks: 4/5 Staff:5/5

Well-stocked bar with selected spirits ... Cozy

This is the largest selection of vodka from the whole world that I know. Especially tasty vodka with salted caramel, I recommend👍. The dumplings are also delicious and the price is good. And of course delicious real .... KVASS!

Until yesterday I hadn't had any bad experiences here. Unfortunately a very rude waitress served us yesterday! Even if it may be strange for some to drink non-alcoholic drinks here at a later hour, it is simply not the right thing to do in an obviously derogatory manner against the guests! If these guests are not welcome, it's a shame but ok - your decision!

Super cozy pub with an extremely creative menu and excellent staff

Very nice restaurant with its own charm and specialization in vodka, who would have thought ;-). Great food and great service complete the offer. Clearly a recommendation for Leipzig!

Best location in town. Funny food and drink menu with a huge selection, every week new incredible creations from the kitchen, super nice catering - that's how it has to be. I recommend educational trips to Vodkaria for other restaurant operators. Here is eaten. And drunk. Home drinking is killing innkeeper.

Great food and drink offer. The relationship to the Baltic States is charming. The vodka offer is extremely extensive ... very interesting. Definitely go there when you are in Leipzig.

Always my pleasure. Great dishes from Russia and Northern Europe. Much reminds me of my grandmother, who also partially prepared these dishes. The .Lokal is great and the staff is very nice. In summer you can sit outside. We recommend.

Were there on 10.07.20 (group of four). It's hard to get out of it sober. Huge selection of various drinks. Brilliant. Have been warmly taken care of by the owner and service. Thanks to Mary. She made sure that we always had plenty to drink. We love to come back.

The meat in the Solijanka Soup was tough but the soup was tasty. We ordered Pelmeni with Tomato sauce and Wareniki with Dill cream. We got Wareniki with Sour cream and the tomoto sauce was so bad that it tasted like it was directly from a can (very watery, no salt, no herbs). I told the waitress that it is embarassing for a cook/restaurant to serve such a sauce and the cook should first taste the food before it goes out. We then got a new plate of Pelmeni with DILL cream. Besides the tomato sauce fiasco, the Pelmeni and Wareniki were delicious and the waitress very friendly.

It's an alright place. Did not feel quite "authentic"

Waited for over half an hour for the waitress to tell us when she came that the space would be reserved for someone else in 30 minutes. Great customer service. Never again

Nice cozy place. Food was good and inventive. Regional from parts of Russia. For Vodka lovers they have about 200 varieties on the menu...

Amazing drinks and service

Not much food for vegetarians, but vodkas and cocktails and food selection otherwise huge.

Oh my goodness I have never seen such a long drink menu! But i guess it fits, given the name "Vodkaria" :) Interesting dishes as well though I haven't tried too much: but what I did try (burger with cherries and goat cheese) was hearty and satisfying. A good choice whether you're into vodka or not!

Love this place, good food nice service and more vodka than a human can drink.

I ordered the main dish. It was very nice. The waiter was very good. Even though I didn't speak German I was comfortable.

Nice place... has outdoor seating which I personally prefer. The waiters and friendly and from the menu thw banana beer is an interesting choice!

Soooo many vodkas to try. Over 600 vodkas from all over the world are on the menu & when you're good with the bartenders a few hundred more. ;-) Try the honey vodka! So yummy ^_^ The menu is matching the liquor: borscht, heavy breads etc. Indoor & outdoor seating. If you are more people use the 2nd room, it's more comfy.

Good atmosphere, service, and a broad selection of spirits. I totally recommend the place.

Fantastic food, and great admittance and service. The menu was a bit difficult for an English speaker with basic Deutsche knowledge, but everyone was more than happy to help out. Wish we had time to stay for drinks, there is a lot of fun to be had here.

It's a very nice place with a good environment. Just don't order the James Bond unless you really know that you will like it!

This restaurant has outdoors and indoors tables. It has a good concept and is very popular among locals. A local selected this place to have dinner and some beers and it was affordable and unique. They change the main courses weekly, so you can try something new every time. It's a casual and very creative restaurant.

Great Barkeeper and Atmosphere. Just go and have a drink!

There is a very good place to grab some drinks. I would recommend Moscow Mule and a shot of Rasputin (a 70% vodka). They also have good beers. This is a just go place in Leipzig.

A wonderful place to visit in Leipzig Germany!!

Sorry but my two requested vodka brands (Zarskaya gold /silver and Husky) haven't been served there. The stuff was just unprofessional. Nevertheless they serve Kölsch. Thanks for that. Next time they may changed the supply a little bit? Who knows...

Terrible russian Food especially for the prices. Frozen wareniki and a bortsch which wasn't a Bortsch more like somkind of non fresh can food. Drinks Are good but to be honest it is not hard to serve a vodka or beer.
